A Note from the Acting Chief of Police

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to explore the Manor Township Police Department’s webpage.

The Manor Township Police Department is responsible for providing full service Law Enforcement and public safety related services to its citizens and visitors. We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but we don’t stop there.

The Manor Township Police Department is a full service police department that is here to serve the needs of the public. If you do not find an answer to your question on this web site, please call the main office number at (717)-299-5231 and someone will be glad to assist you.

In partnership with the community, we strive to preserve the peace and provide a safe environment for all by upholding the mission of the department. The Primary goals of the Manor Township Police Department are many and diverse. They include the protection of life and property, resolution of conflicts, and provision for a feeling of security in the community. The department also endeavors to reduce the opportunities for the commission of crime through prevention strategies and identification, apprehension, and prosecution of offenders, as well as the preservation of the peace in the Township of Manor, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

The Township is served by 19 sworn police officers, which provides routine patrol, traffic control, motorcycle patrol, bike patrol, educational programs, and accident, criminal and narcotic investigations. Our support staff of 3 non-sworn members is dedicated to outstanding public service and is willing to assist in any way they can.

We value quality performance and will strive to improve our effectiveness in delivering our services to you in the manner that you expect, fairly, impartially and sincerely. Our accomplishment of our mission rests upon the commitment of each of us as employees working in cooperation with all citizens alike.

The police department requests and needs the assistance of the citizens it serves. We cannot do it alone. The department embraces the community policing philosophy. The Manor Township Police Department believes in partnering with the community to solve problems and reduce crime. We want to help the community resolve issues so that they do not continue.

As you go through our web pages I invite you to learn more about these and other activities in greater detail. Again, thank you for stopping by our web site and please visit us again.

Have a great day and if you have any questions, comments, concerns or problems please contact me at the above number.

Sincerely,

Lt. Kimberly Geyer

Acting Chief of Police
